The medium-thick, self-levelling consistency gives full control during application. The base spreads smoothly over the nail plate, does not flood the cuticles and allows you to quickly create a smooth, even surface. Its flexible formula works together with the natural nail, helping to reduce cracking, chipping and lifting.
Smart Base Pro 2 is suitable for strengthening the natural nail plate and for light nail building. It is a practical everyday base for professional nail technicians who need a dependable product for quick salon manicures, natural overlays and more refined nail designs.

How to apply Smart Base Pro 2
Prepare the natural nail plate
Gently mattify the nail surface using a 100/180 buffer to remove shine. Remove all dust thoroughly with a soft nail brush.
Cuticle preparation
Apply a small amount of Cuticle Remover to the cuticle area and leave for approximately 30 seconds. Gently push back the softened cuticles using a wooden stick or cuticle pusher. Remove any residue with Cleaner, as Cuticle Remover contains glycerine and the nail plate must be cleaned properly before product application.
Apply dehydrator
Apply a thin layer of Natural Basic Key dehydrator to the prepared nail plate. This step removes excess moisture and natural oils from the nail, preparing it for the next stages. Allow it to evaporate completely.
Apply Antifungal
Apply Antifungal to help protect the natural nail plate against microorganisms. Use according to the manufacturer’s instructions and allow the product to dry.
Apply primer or Ultra Bond
Apply primer or Ultra Bond depending on the condition and needs of the natural nail plate. This step improves adhesion and helps increase the durability of the manicure.
Base application
Apply a thin rubbing layer of Repair Base Clear and cure in a UV/LED lamp for 30 seconds.
Then apply Smart Base Pro 2 Pink Affair as needed to strengthen or lightly build the nail. Cure according to the manufacturer’s recommended curing time.
Top coat application
Finish the manicure with a layer of top coat to achieve a high-gloss finish. Cure in a UV/LED lamp. After completing the service, apply cuticle oil and gently massage it into the skin around the nails.
